History

The Firm originated back in early 2006 on the Playstation 2 console, with the founding members being Roosta_1TF1, Vojak_1TF1, Rakoon-1TF1_, and a few other players. Call of Duty 2 was the game they first started clan battling in, that was before they knew about GameBattles.com and clans had to keep records themselves. Even though that process may have not seemed worth the trouble, looking back it did create a strong sense of trust throughout the Call of duty 2 clan community, and is something that is definitely lacking from the competitive gaming community today.

Moving past COD 2 we entered the glitch laden world Of Call of Duty 3, on the Playstation 2 console. The Firm played a single clan battle on this title, which they won, but came to the realization that it was not worth the trouble to battle. Why? Well, it starts with the fact turning a corner would give you a clear view of the entire map as walls would be transparent for a short amount of time and it just went downhill from there. Our time there was very short as this was around the release of the Playstation 3 console.

Founding 1TF1 members stepped up and purchased the Playstation 3 console a couple months within its release and as you may have assumed, COD3 along with it. This was the first time they were introduced to a true gaming website which kept records on their servers, this website was PS3MULTIPLAYER.COM. The Firm did pretty well there and picked up few players along the way, which eventually made up the core players of 1TF1, we also took 1st place in a cash tournament. Around this time the highly anticipated Call Of duty 4: Modern Warfare was to be released.

Tourny Champs

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to many gamers is the pinnacle of competitive Call of duty 4 gaming maybe only second to Call of duty 4nd to the Halo series. For 1TF1 it was the beginning of their career on a highly XBOX favored site, GameBattles.com, this was the first real test for The Firm as there were 100’s of other clans competing there. Not surprisingly 1TF1 did very well there in the first season with a record of 228-27 finishing in the top ten and continued to hold their own in the proceeding seasons thereafter. Now with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, many gamers including The Firm thought it was going to be epic, but that was not the case.

In the end The Firm has survived many challenges both on the virtual battlefield and in real life, but has always stayed together and never remade. In the opinion of this writer is something to commend.
